Join us for an immersive photographic journey through some of the most iconic mountain ranges in the United States this workshop will be lead by Chris Byrne with me as a Co-leader, explore from both the ground and the air. This expedition is designed around dramatic alpine landscapes, vast wilderness, and the ever-changing light that defines high country photography.
Across the journey, we will focus on reading terrain, understanding scale, and working with atmosphere to create powerful images that go beyond postcard views. Expect early starts, flexible days dictated by weather and light, and a strong emphasis on slowing down and responding to the landscape rather than rushing between locations.
Aerial components will offer a completely different perspective on these mountain systems, revealing patterns, glacial forms, and geological structures that are impossible to appreciate from the ground alone. This workshop is suited to photographers who are drawn to big landscapes, depth, and storytelling, and who want to experience these environments in a considered, hands-on way.
Full itinerary, locations, and inclusions to be announced.
