Job Description

A respected law firm in San Diego is seeking a seasoned Legal Assistant with a strong background in Healthcare law to join its collaborative team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to support a busy group of attorneys while enjoying a balanced hybrid work schedule (work-from-home one day per week after the eligibility period).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to attorneys within the Healthcare practice group.
• Maintain high levels of client contact and ensure timely, professional communication.
• Arrange and coordinate attorney and client travel.
• Manage complex calendars, including scheduling and coordinating client and board meetings.
• Prepare, proofread, and edit correspondence, agreements, and legal documents.
• Maintain and organize electronic and physical files in accordance with firm standards.
• Assist with special projects, filings, and other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably within Healthcare law.
• Experience in Intellectual Property, Litigation, or Insurance Coverage is a plus.
• Exceptional proofreading, writing, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage calendaring with accuracy and efficiency.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.
• Professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.
