Useless Loop Shark Bay has many overflow lakes and some of those form these incredible ridges, some would be 1ft high or more from ground level but from the air it’s an absolute dream, creating dreamlike shapes, in this case broken glass with cloudy blue sky in the background.

Another of the lagoons north of Denham in Shark Bay, this one shaped like a balloon drifting up the frame, its pale blue water ringed in white and tethered by a thin channel below. The deep red surrounds make the colour almost glow.
Bold and uplifting, it pairs beautifully with TadPole and The Pond from the same area.
