Description
Remote outback, Western Australia
Dead trees stand like ghosts along a strip of land between two tailings ponds in the remote outback of Western Australia. Their pale branches reach out over a crust of white and black, while the ground below them runs red, ochre and green. It is a strange and haunting scene, beautiful from the air and a reminder of how much these landscapes are shaped by people.
