Description
Goldfields, Western Australia
Teal water spreads out from a narrow causeway across a tailings pond in the Goldfields, carving white channels through the sediment as it flows. The late light throws a long blue shadow off the wall, and the patterns on either side look almost like ice breaking up in spring. On this flight it felt more like the Arctic than the outback.
