Remote Goldfields, Western Australia
Cracked tailings in the remote Goldfields shift from glowing orange and rose into deep blue, as if the ground itself is moving from sunset into night. Each plate of dried mud carries its own mix of rust and slate. It is one of my favourite colour transitions I have found on these dams.

The paper
Every print is made on a 100% cotton fine art paper from Hahnemühle or Moab, two of the most respected names in archival printing.
From the air, these landscapes are all texture: salt crusts, tidal channels, wind lines in the sand. A gently textured paper carries some of that onto your wall. As the light in your room moves through the day, the surface catches it and gives the print a quiet, three dimensional depth that smooth photo paper can't.
I match each image to its paper by hand, so the texture always suits the subject.

A lightly defined felt surface on a clean white base. Soft to the touch, with crisp detail and deep blacks, it holds every grain of sand and ripple of water.
100% cotton · 255 gsm · mould made in England
Made on a traditional cylinder mould at St Cuthberts Mill, with a fine grain and a warm natural white. It has the feel of handmade paper and brings a softness to warm tones, tidal flats and desert country.
The cotton fibres give the surface a gentle relief, so the image shifts softly as the light moves across it.
A matte surface with no shine, so the print reads clearly from any angle in the room.
Acid free cotton paper and archival pigment inks, made to be enjoyed for generations.
