Description
Goldfields, Western Australia
A channel of turquoise water branches through the cracked surface of a gold mine tailings pond in the Goldfields, spreading out like the roots of a tree. As the pond dries, the water finds the cracks between the plates and fills them with colour, fading into deep blue where the pool is still holding on. A quiet moment of order inside a harsh industrial landscape.
