Description
Remote outback, Western Australia
Far out in the remote goldfields of Western Australia, a narrow ridge of land separates two white tailings ponds. Rust reds, olive greens and pale yellows run along its length, while the surface of the ponds has dried into a fine black and white lacework. A small stand of trees clings to the high point, making it feel more like a painting than an industrial landscape.
