Description
Mid West Wheatbelt, Western Australia
Rounded pink and orange salt lakes are scattered across the farmland like polka dots, each one ringed with salt and a soft edge of saltbush. These small lakes sit in the heart of the Wheatbelt and change colour through the year as the water level rises and falls. Seen from a small plane, the whole landscape looks playful and almost hand drawn.
