Short Description A once in a lifetime composition, I have spent much of my career covering Tailing ponds in Western Australia, I feel my part is to bring these otherwise invisible areas from the ground into the spotlight. This was just one of those unique lining up of events to create this apocalyptic scene, it went on to win gold awards in the AIPP state and national competitions.

Short Description Taken over a small sand island this image is just uniquely abstract but at the same time grounded in the real world, It has something alien about the feeling to this image and is a personal favourite of mine.

Short Description Useless Loop Shark Bay has many overflow lakes and some of those form these incredible ridges, some would be 1ft high or more from ground level but from the air it’s an absolute dream, creating dreamlike shapes, in this case broken glass with cloudy blue sky in the background.

As the region became more arid and warm, these rivers gradually dried up, leaving behind something remarkable—high-salinity salt lakes and ponds. During the hotter months, they mostly dry out, but when the much-needed rains arrive in the Wheatbelt, they fill and burst to life with vibrant colours, thanks to the microbes that thrive in these unique environments.

Karri Forest, South West Western Australia

This image was taken deep in the Karri forest along Caves Road on a morning that felt like something out of a dream. The mist rolled through quietly, softening the landscape and wrapping the tall trunks in a pale veil. These trees are giants, and when the conditions are right, they create an atmosphere that is hard to describe, grounded, still, and completely immersive.

I had been chasing fog that morning and found this spot just as the light began to break through. The soft glow filtering through the canopy brought out the reddish bark, while the road itself carved a gentle path through the scene. There is something cinematic about it, the way it pulls your eye down the middle and makes you feel like you are stepping into the frame.

The South West is known for its coastlines and wine, but the forest is where I always seem to find something special. This image is part of my International Print Series, which features grounded and aerial perspectives from across Australia and beyond. It pairs beautifully with quieter interiors and spaces that suit natural tones and soft mood.

If you are exploring the Margaret River region, take the time to drive the length of Caves Road. Mornings like this do not happen every day, but when they do, they transform even the simplest drive into something unforgettable.

Short Description Fremantle Harbour, I captured these vehicles waiting to go to new homes, there was something almost child like in the way there were stacked and parked, or possibly like kids toys from 1000ft up, this kind of imagery is my favourite to pursue.
