Locked

Price range: $390.00 through $4,000.00
Short Description

Taken in the lead-up to Christmas during a proper Perth scorcher, this aerial of Rottnest Island captures a very Aussie version of gridlock. Boats filled the bay, each locked into place, waiting out the heat in turquoise water. From the air, they look almost like pieces on a game board, strategic, peaceful and perfectly spaced. It’s that contrast that got me. On the ground, you’d hear music, see kids jumping off boats and feel the buzz of summer. But from above, it’s all calm, almost meditative. I always find that difference fascinating. The stillness, the structure, the way light bounces off the hulls like little mirrors, it all adds to the composition. There’s something orderly and beautiful in the chaos. This is one of those scenes that speaks to how we interact with nature and how it can look entirely different from another perspective. A classic slice of the West Australian coastline during the festive season.

This piece is part of my International Print Series, showcasing fine art aerial photography from Western Australia’s iconic coastline.

Viewed from above, the vibrant colors and intricate patterns form a natural canvas, blending earthy reds, soft blues, and pools of striking orange and gold. Short Description Hutt Lagoon, or “Pink Lake,” near Port Gregory and Kalbarri in Western Australia, may need no introduction depending on where you’re from. It’s a natural wonder, striking in its contrast between untouched beauty and areas shaped by mining—a stark juxtaposition that tells a compelling story from the air. I isolated the subject within this scene and a little "arcade" creature appeared, very cool.

Palace

Price range: $390.00 through $4,000.00
Palace

Palace was photographed over Hutt Lagoon in Western Australia, where bold geometric structures intersect with one of the world’s most vibrant natural lakes. In the frame, a truck moves along one of the causeways, delivering materials used to help shape these vivid pink salt ponds into organised patterns. It’s a surreal scene, where industry and nature collide, yet somehow create something unexpectedly beautiful. The pink tones shift across the surface while terraced edges and crisp lines carve out order from chaos. Palace is a unique perspective on a world-class location, balancing precision with organic form. It is one of the most architecturally striking pieces in the International Print Series.

Short Description Shark Bay is an immense and remarkable region, so special that it holds World Heritage status. Its diversity from the air is unparalleled, with shifting landscapes shaped by the ebb and flow of massive tides. This particular area, where reef and land intertwine, transforms constantly with the movement of water. Capturing and shaping this image was a challenge due to its abstract nature, but it’s one I’m incredibly proud of—one that looks stunning displayed on a wall.

Pink Swans

Price range: $390.00 through $4,000.00
Pink Swans Captured over Hutt Lagoon in Western Australia, this image shows a pair of swans flying low across the surface of the lake. Against the soft pink tones of the water, their dark forms create a subtle but beautiful contrast that immediately caught my eye from above. There is a quiet elegance to this moment. The birds move with purpose and calm, cutting across the abstract colours of the lagoon and briefly turning the landscape into a stage for something living and fleeting. From the air, the scene feels simple and minimal, yet full of movement and grace. Hutt Lagoon is known for its striking colour, but moments like this add another layer to the story. The meeting of wildlife and landscape transforms an already surreal setting into something even more special, where nature and pattern come together in a single frame. As a fine art print, this piece brings a sense of calm and balance into a space. The soft palette and gentle motion make it ideal for interiors that call for something minimal, elegant and quietly captivating.

Pollock

Price range: $390.00 through $4,000.00
Short Description

This image represents years of work, failure, learning and persistence. Captured over the Alcoa tailings ponds, Pollock is one of my most recognised and awarded pieces. It won Gold at both the AIPP State and National Awards and gained international attention not long after. It took everything to get this one. Conditions, timing, angle, gear, it all had to align. What I love about this image is how wild yet composed it feels. The fractured textures and splashes of colour give it a painterly quality that reminded me of Jackson Pollock, hence the name. But there’s also a deeper layer here. These tailings ponds are intense places, loaded with environmental tension. The beauty can be confronting. You’re looking at something created by industry, but from this angle, it becomes almost unrecognisably beautiful. That tension between attraction and discomfort sits at the core of this work. It’s a centrepiece, a conversation starter, and one of the most meaningful images I’ve created.

This image is part of my International Print Series, featuring the bold and abstract beauty found in aerial landscapes.

Alcoa tailings ponds are visually striking, industrial landscapes that reveal tension between nature and human impact. About Tailings

Pot Alley

Price range: $390.00 through $4,000.00
Short Description

Shot during the same flight over Rottnest that brought me several pieces in this series, Pot Alley caught my attention with its subtle complexity. The water here was flowing around shallow rock formations and reef beds, creating a winding path that reminded me of a narrow alleyway. From above, the structure almost feels architectural. There’s something rhythmic in the way it moves, curved lines, tonal shifts, soft transitions from deep green to pale aqua. It’s a quieter image than some of the others, but one I come back to often. There’s a softness to it that I find calming. These kinds of scenes don’t shout. They hum. They create a sense of movement and space without being loud. Pot Alley is for those who enjoy detail and subtle energy. It’s grounded, balanced, and layered with quiet complexity. The sort of piece that fits anywhere, but still holds your eye long after you've walked past it.

Pressure

Price range: $390.00 through $4,000.00
Short Description

Shot above the salt ponds in the southern reaches of Shark Bay, this image captures what are known as pressure ridges. These jagged natural lines are formed when salt crusts expand and break apart the surface beneath them, sometimes rising up to a foot high. They’re small in the grand scheme of the landscape, but from above, they take on a life of their own. The abstract patterning is sharp, directional and completely organic, like veins or muscle fibres tearing through the frame. What makes this piece work is the contrast between that jagged structure and the warm, soft tones beneath it. It’s nature’s version of tension and release. I’ve flown over this area many times, and it’s rare to see it come together like this. It’s raw, textural and bold, and it feels like it’s always moving, even though it’s frozen in time. Pressure is one of those pieces that keeps your eye engaged with every viewing.

This piece is part of my International Print Series, a fine art collection capturing Australia's coastline and abstract landscapes from above.

Punchbowl

Price range: $390.00 through $4,000.00
Short Description

Arthur’s Pass, New Zealand

Tucked deep in the heart of the Southern Alps, Punchbowl Falls captures the kind of atmospheric morning that landscape photographers dream about. I shot this image just after sunrise on a foggy day in Arthur’s Pass National Park, when the mist clung to the forest and every sound seemed amplified by the hush of the mountains. The falls echoed through the gorge, layered with the call of native birds waking up to the day.

The light was low and clean, cutting through the haze just enough to highlight the structure of the forest and the falls. I was standing alone on the viewing platform, completely immersed in the stillness. Just watching the water come to life in that setting, ancient, lush and slightly otherworldly, was something I won’t forget in a hurry.

Arthur’s Pass is one of those rare places in New Zealand where scale, drama and mood come together effortlessly. From thick mossy trails to snow-capped peaks, it delivers a raw beauty that never feels overdone. This image, part of my International Print Series, brings that spirit indoors. Whether you’ve hiked the trails yourself or you just want a reminder of the power in New Zealand’s mountain landscapes, Punchbowl is a window into that still, moody kind of wilderness.

Pure Happiness

Price range: $390.00 through $4,000.00
Short Description Western Australia is home to many ancient river systems that formed during a time when the climate was milder and wetter. As the region became more arid and warm, these rivers gradually dried up, leaving behind something remarkable—high-salinity salt lakes and ponds. During the hotter months, they mostly dry out, but when the much-needed rains arrive in the Wheatbelt, they fill and burst to life with vibrant colours, thanks to the microbes that thrive in these unique environments. .

Rectify

Artwork Description:Photographed over Useless Loop in Shark Bay, 'Rectify' is all about simple, bold shapes. The salt operations at Useless Loop create strong lines and colour separations that almost look like abstract paintings from above. I was drawn to this section because of the way the vivid red tones cut sharply across the softer blue surface. The texture and layering visible from the air gave the scene a sense of depth you would never realise from the ground. Part of the International Print Series, showcasing the unexpected beauty of remote and industrial landscapes.

Red Banded Stilts

Price range: $390.00 through $4,000.00
Red Banded Stilts Captured over Hutt Lagoon in Western Australia during one of the wettest winter seasons in years, this image shows thousands of Red Banded Stilts gathered across the shallow waters. It was one of those rare moments where timing, conditions and wildlife all lined up, something I had been chasing for a long time. These birds are known for moving through remote inland and coastal wetlands, but seeing them in numbers like this is never guaranteed. From the air, their presence transforms the lake’s surface into a living pattern, tiny dark marks scattered across soft pink and pale water tones. The contrast between delicate wildlife and the bold colour of the lagoon creates a scene that feels both gentle and visually striking. This was a photograph years in the making. I had flown over Hutt Lagoon many times hoping to witness this kind of gathering, and when it finally happened it felt like everything had come together in a single frame. It is a reminder that some images cannot be forced, they have to be waited for. As a fine art print, this piece brings a sense of movement, life and natural wonder into a space. The soft colours and intricate detail reward a closer look, making it a beautiful and conversation starting addition to any interior.
