Description
Goldfields, Western Australia
A white tongue of salt reaches into a pool of deep crimson on a Goldfields salt lake. Layer upon layer of crust has built up around the edge, each line recording a little more evaporation, while the water holds a colour that only appears when the conditions line up. Up close it reads more like brushed silk than ground.
