Description Transition Captured during a fog filled morning at the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, this image came from leaning fully into the atmosphere rather than fighting it. The city was still quiet, the air heavy with mist, and the bridge slowly appeared and disappeared as the fog rolled through, turning an iconic landmark into something soft, surreal and almost dreamlike. Instead of chasing a clear view, I embraced the limited visibility and let the conditions shape the photograph. The structure fades gently into the clouds, with only fragments of the bridge revealing themselves, creating a sense of mystery and calm. It feels less like a documentary image of a famous place and more like a memory, slightly blurred by time and feeling. This was a location I had wanted to photograph for years, and experiencing it like this made it even more special. Wake was captured over Big Lagoon in Shark Bay on a perfectly calm morning. A pod of dolphins entered the lagoon, carving through the glassy water and leaving behind long, surreal wake trails. The light was gentle, the air was still, and the moment felt otherworldly. What makes this image so special is the combination of clarity and pattern, with the lead dolphin slicing through the water like ink through silk. Artwork Description:Shot on the shores of Wanaka, this image captures one of the most recognisable and peaceful scenes in New Zealand. A lone tree stands partially submerged, perfectly reflected in the still waters of the lake. It is a location that has been photographed countless times, but standing there in the early morning light, it still feels special. I wanted to keep the frame clean and simple, focusing on the quiet symmetry between the tree and its reflection. Short Description Captured near the Stirling Ranges in Western Australia, these salt lakes each have their own unique patterns and formations. This particular one stood out with fascinating undulating ripples and rolls, especially on one side which I assume was shaped by prevailing winds. I framed the composition to resemble a layered cake and this was the result.
